In the upcoming 56th Annual Japanese Geotechnical Society Conference our “Unconsolidated Sediment Sampler” will be featured in a technical report from Wakachiku co.,Ltd!

The contents of their report are a product of joint research between our two companies on evaluating the effectiveness of soil-cement column construction to strengthen weak ground foundations.

The Unconsolidated Sediment Sampler extracts soil-cement mixtures used to fill cylindrical holes drilled into the earth to evaluate the mixture ratios at different depths.

The device is used when the soil-cement mixtures are still in a liquid state, requiring unique technology to ensure that samples can be extracted without contamination from other depths.
