Main Features

It enables to judge good or bad in soil physical property at an actual field.
Moisture damage that is occurred frequently in Japan is caused by oxygen deficiency.
As a remedial measure of soil property, it is important to grasp the characteristics of gas diffusion through soils .
This product was developed for determining the soil physical property in an actual field without taking samples in a conventional way.
It is the optimal method for evaluating soil structures that are prone to moisture damage.

・Measuring time is just 30 minutes to judge good or bad in soil physical property.
・Thanks to the spread sheet software supplied, easy to determine the measured value.
・”Isobutane gas” which is commercially available for portable stove is used as the measuring gas.

This product is joint-developed by Tohoku Agricultural Research Center, NARO and Daiki.
The DIK-0465 Portable Gas Diffusion Coefficient Meter of Soil is introduced on the following website of NARO. (Only Japanese)
