DIK-1650 EZ Soil Grabber
●Effortless Core Sampling.
Traditionally, you would have to bend down or sit in the dirt to dig up and extract a cylindrical soil sample.
We developed this handy core sampler in collaboration with the Fukushima Agricultural Technology Center to make soil sampling much easier.
●Features
This tool works like a pair or “scissors” where the oval cylinder of sampling part can open and close. This is how soil extractions is made facile.
1. Saves Time
Time spent sampling, pulling out of the sample, cleaning your tools can be reduced.(1/3 the time it would take to shovel, 2/3 the time a pricking type of sampler takes.)
2.Accurate Sampling
Thanks to the pillar shape of the shovels, it can evenly sample the volume from the upper to lower layers. Thus, when sampling mixed soil from multiple locations, sample dispersion can be reduced.
3.Labor-saving and stress-free
Light weight-580g. It enables you to sample soil with one hand, freeing your other hand to carry a bag for the sample. You can extract a sample without sitting on the ground.
4.Minimize of damage to roots for growing crops
The size of hole by sampling is approx. 5cm diameter. (If you were using a shovel, it would be about 10cm)
Damage to growing crop’s roots can be minimized.
